We hit Austin, Texas to unveil the HGTV Smart Home, raising excitement and the IQ of viewers for this year’s prize.
After a full calendar year working on the HGTV Home Giveaways, we returned to the one that started it all – the HGTV Smart Home. Centered in the heart of the live music capital of the world, this house featured the newest trends in tech and convenience to making living in Austin a no-brainer. In addition to producing 10 custom sponsorship vignettes over four days, we shot beauty footage of the home from top to bottom for HGTV’s Sweepstakes Promo spots – making sure the look of both sides of their on-air campaign had a unified feel. This also allowed us to manage the entire project and budget efficiently from start to finish, keeping everything incredibly detailed and organized for all of our sponsors, products, clients, and, most importantly, the house itself (there are over 35 remotes to operate all the features in the home).
We rounded out the campaign by giving each spot its own custom graphics treatment to highlight the smart features of the home and enhance the look of these integrations while keeping the overall look of the campaign consistent.
