Pillsbury + Food Network
We know what it takes to make a food competition integration. That’s why our clients come back for seconds…thirds…and fourths, but we raise the bar each and every time. Whether it’s an interesting shot, pacing, or casting choices – we spice it up to bring something new and different to the table.
We love working with Food Network because they make cooking competitions super fun and super intense, so we wanted to do this spot right by hitting those same flavorful notes. Utilizing Pillsbury Toaster Strudel as our signature ingredient, we featured three kid’testants in the spirit of Rachael vs Guy: Kids Cook-Off, having them prepare unique breakfast dishes for their mom judges. But no baking adventure goes without its challenges. The recipe for success called for one ADR session to accommodate a last minute line change request and our GFX team to buff out a dent in the fridge that was featured in 12 different shots. Food Network and Toaster Strudel absolutely loved what came out of our oven, praising us highly for the perfect casting and a flawless execution by taking a classic formula and mixing in our own special ingredients.
Best of all, we got to shoot this integration on location in our backyard near Piedmont Park in Atlanta. We even got some authentic aprons and chef jackets as memorabilia – too bad they’re kid-sized.
