FOCUS FEATURES “Race” + Bravo
We caught up with Atlanta Housewife Cynthia Bailey to reflect on the Jesse Owens biopic, Race.
When Bravo asked us to create a custom movie integration for Race, it was only fitting that we suggested filming at Atlanta’s Center for Civil and Human Rights to pay homage to the powerful civil rights legacy paved by Jesse Owens. Using our deep relationship with the Center, we secured a space that added visual interest to our vignette while also giving Cynthia the perfect backdrop to discuss the film – tapping into her personal experiences to honor the themes of the movie in natural, emotionally-charged ways.
We also had fun employing a suped-up RC Car camera rig to elevate the B-roll of Cynthia touring the CCHR, and a custom hashtag rounded out the spot by driving viewers to social sharing sites to discuss the movie and connected our custom vignette with the overarching movie campaign.
