We partnered with National Geographic and Travel Texas to create a one-hour branded travel documentary exploring the rich culture, stunning landscapes, and personal stories found in Texas as shared by locals who call it home.
BRAND FILM
We developed the program with National Geographic CreativeWorks over the course of two years, navigating the pandemic to cast and film with a diverse collection of people from all walks of life – fly fishing guides, craft beer brewers, birders, artists, chefs, singers, mountain bikers, and photographers – to find out what they love about Texas, how they’re putting their own spin on its traditions, and showcase hidden gems for travelers. The special premiered on National Geographic, and released next-day on Hulu.
SERIES DEVELOPMENT + LOGISTICS
We traveled all around Texas to give viewers a one-of-a-kind experience showcasing as many types of activities and stories that can be found there. Our two-week shoot centered around some of state’s biggest cities including Austin, San Antonio, and Houston but also explored lesser-known locations in between.
BRANDED CONTENT PROMO CAMPAIGN
In addition to the branded documentary, the media campaign included additional custom IG Stories taking a deeper dive into the characters and locations featured in the program to build buzz for the premiere.
CUSTOM DIGITAL ARTICLES
We also worked with National Geographic Photographer Erika Larsen and the National Geographic CreativeWorks digital team to help curate the stories and content used to create custom digital articles released throughout the month leading up to the film’s premiere.
