Velux “Shift Your Outlook”

:30

We turned heads with Velux to give viewers a new perspective on home design.

Wray Ward came to us to produce a high concept campaign for Velux around their “Shift Your Outlook” initiative, with the goal of showcasing skylights as a fifth wall in any room – and to change the way you think about your ceilings.

We designed and built a custom living room set from scratch, complete with a beautiful sunny sky, textured wallpaper ceiling, concrete floors, and reclaimed wood accent wall to bring the most out of the Velux skylights and make this an aspirational, magazine-worthy space.

After months of pre-visualization to get the shot exactly right, we utilized the pinpoint precision of a Milo MoCo rig to make sure this spot had exactly the right move to turn viewer’s worlds (and perspectives) upside down.

This spot aired across Scripps Networks to coincide with Velux’s sponsorship of the HGTV Smart Home, tying into an overall campaign that saw tens of millions of entries and hundreds of millions of eyeballs, and is also being featured as a full page print ad from a separate stills shoot we helped facilitate.
