We designed a custom graphics toolkit from scratch to launch the new OWN Storytellers brand.
In less than a month, we helped OWN develop a complete promo package for a new asset they are offering to advertisers featuring inspirational and compelling stories called OWN Storytellers. Our challenge was to create a design flexible enough to accommodate any sponsor without needing to adhere to traditional network branding guidelines. Deliverables included a custom show open, logo, transitions, mortises, loopable backgrounds, and lower thirds.
Inspired by and working with Oprah’s voiceover, we came up with an elegant approach allowing the content (and sponsors) to shine. As part of the toolkit, we also built a custom 3D glass version of the OWN logo that automatically acts as a prism over any elements that it passes over.
We’re excited that the package has already been used both on-air and online, including to promote the uplifting film, Hidden Figures.
