MORGAN JOHNSON
GROWING UP MORGAN LOVED GOING TO BLOCKBUSTER EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT WITH HER FAMILY. MOVIE NIGHTS ARE STILL HER FAVORITE, BUT NOW SHE GETS TO CALL IT WORK. AS A SR. WRITER/PRODUCER AT BARK BARK, MORGAN THRIVES ON COLLABORATION AND CAN GROW THE SEED OF AN IDEA INTO EVERYTHING FROM A CONCISE PIECE OF COPY, TO AN ENGAGING ONLINE VIDEO, TO A FULLY DEVELOPED BRAND CAMPAIGN.
Morgan got her start as an Associate Producer at National Geographic, producing promos for Doomsday Preppers and swimming in scripts for SharkFest. She fell in love with short-form content and crafting compelling stories in one minute or less. Looking to grow and work with other brands, Morgan moved to New York as an NBC Page. While she had never seen an episode of 30 Rock, she went on to work in the iconic building for 6 years. During that time she had the chance to do a little bit of everything: produce segments for The Today Show plaza, write copy for SYFY’s 25th anniversary campaign, work too many Comic Con’s to count, create fan-fueled YouTube franchises at SYFY WIRE, and churn out social media content for E!’s award show red carpet coverage.
After leaving NBC, Morgan joined Netflix as a producer working with their Publicity team to promote original series’ such as Ozark, Narcos: Mexico, and Vikings: Valhalla. Now at BARK BARK, Morgan is excited to keep telling stories with Entertainment’s Mightiest Heroes, a team so awesome they could rival The Avengers.
Morgan will always: Admit when she doesn’t know something, get to the movie theater early for trailers, and be down to talk about the MCU for hours on end.
Morgan will never: Yell on set, eat beets, or understand how The Big Bang Theory is so popular.
