We produced an unforgettable night of standup at the Sprite Corner for Comedy Central and Sprite for broadcast, tumblr, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
This comedy night was the latest in a series of special events hosted by Sprite featuring artists, musicians, chefs, and comedians from all walks of life – including Ron Funches, Michelle Buteau, and Crystian Ramirez. They wanted a fresh approach to change it up, so we rolled up our sleeves and set out organizing this live event with multiple camera angles (our favorite being the “Comedy Cam” attached to a microphone), talent interviews in moodier, Green Room space, time-lapse footage of the exterior and interior, classic comedy stage lighting for the main event, all combined with an authentic, doc-style vibe fitting of the Sprite mantra. Even the graphics were integrated, as we took the best of Comedy Central and Sprite’s packages, creating a custom open for this special occasion.
The turnaround time allowed just one week from shoot to delivery of multiple cross-platform assets for online and on air, something we’re quite familiar with, resulting in a cohesive effort that showed off the best of comedy, and the best of obeying your thirst.
The entire Sprite Corner experience (of which we only played a very tiny role with Comedy Central) was a huge success, ranking as the #1 CPG brand experience of the year by MediaPost, not just for the experience, but for the reach of its content beyond the space itself.
